Note P09 Revision 1 Terms read 17 October 2026

A wallet opened for one payment, and the twenty-four hours of checking that happen before a deposit is possible

MuchBetter is a rail most readers do not already hold, so the clock on a payout starts with an account that does not exist. Registering it, funding it and having it examine a passport comes to 24 h 15 min on this note’s posited lengths, all of it spent before a casino form has been opened. Whether that is a cost or a bargain turns on one figure, and the figure is 50 h 15 min.

Only the middle reading comes out of arithmetic belonging to this site. The multiple laid against what lands gives the turnover asked for; dividing that by 10p a spin gives the presses; dividing those by 300 an hour gives the hours, a press on a handset being taken here at 12 seconds from the one before. Both figures are assumptions rather than measurements of anybody: nothing was played and nothing was held a stopwatch to. Anybody quicker should divide the press count by a rate of their own, which is why the presses are printed alongside the hours instead of being summarised away.

The first reading is what arrives before any condition is laid against it. Spins carry no unit of their own so one gets supplied: where an operator values its own spin that figure is used and attributed, and where it does not, this site's 10p a spin stands in and everything below moves with it. The third reading belongs to the operator entirely. It is a withdrawal band quoted from published terms, and a blank there means none was published rather than that nobody looked.

The total along the foot answers what the hours leave open, which is whether any of the running ends anywhere. It is what arrived, less whatever is still standing once the play-through has been paid for at 96 per cent return to player and once a published limit, a published deduction and a published floor beneath the least that can leave have each had a turn. It appears again in pence in the pound, the only fair way of holding a small offer up against a large one. It describes an offer rather than an evening, and where the conditions price out what arrived, a timer prints nothing getting out instead of a negative sum.

Cashiers on a handset take deposits off a row of preset buttons, so a least deposit given in pounds is raised to the next rung of the ladder used here, £10, £20, £25, £50, £75 and £100, and the timer shows what is left perched on it. That money is the reader's own and enters no sum at all. Given in euros it prints untouched, the ladder being sterling. Three words may occupy the figure column where no figure belongs. Stated is a published term that costs something while leaving no number to subtract. No figure is a term nobody has quantified, or a credit that is not a sum until money of yours makes it one. Your own is money of yours, which belongs in none of this.

None of the operators above is licensed in Great Britain, so not one duty that licence carries reaches any of them. Membership of Gamstop Online is compulsory for every online gambling company licensed in Great Britain, which means that shutting yourself out through the scheme shuts you out of none of these. The limit of ten times the bonus funds on a wagering requirement, running since 19 January 2026 under Social Responsibility Code 5.1.1, is a condition of the same licence and binds only whoever holds one. Off that licence, the Gambling Commission writes of consumers meeting unfair gaming practices, financial loss and no recourse when matters go wrong, and lists blocked payouts and withdrawal limits pitched too high to reach among the things it has seen. No account at any of them may be held by anybody under 18.

Every term on a timer is its operator's own and every timer carries the day somebody read it. The oldest of those readings is 17 October 2026. What binds a reader is an operator's full terms and never a line printed here.

1

Where a clock starts when the account does not exist

Payout arithmetic usually begins at the moment a request is submitted. On a rail the reader has never used, that is the wrong starting line, because three things have to happen before a single penny can be deposited: an account is created, it is funded, and it is examined. This note posits ten minutes for registration and activation, five minutes for a first load to appear, and twenty-four hours for the wallet to form a view about who is operating it.

Twenty-four hours and fifteen minutes is the sum of those three, and every minute of it is spent in advance of knowing whether there will be anything to collect. That is the distinguishing feature of a small rail and it is not a criticism of the rail. It is an ordering: the cost of adoption falls entirely before the benefit of adoption can be measured.

Twenty pounds sent across the reels at the ninety-six per cent return posited across this site is expected to come back as £19.20, a shortfall of eighty pence. So the honest framing of part one is that a reader has committed 24 h 15 min of elapsed time and a set of identity documents in order to participate in an exercise whose expected outcome is losing eighty pence. The hours are not bought with winnings. They are bought in advance, out of hope.

24 h 15 min of setting up before a first deposit

Nothing above is observed. The three lengths are declared by this note so that the chain can be added, and a reader whose own registration took four minutes or whose wallet asked nothing of them should put their figures in and rework the comparisons, which stay linear whatever numbers go in.

2

One passport, two desks, forty-four hours between them

Two separate organisations examine the same reader on this route and neither can use the other’s conclusion. The wallet forms its own view, posited here at twenty-four hours. The casino forms its own, posited at twenty hours. Added together that is 44 h, which against an end-to-end total of 94 h 19 min is 46.65 per cent of everything.

Forty-six and a half per cent of a payout queue spent on two readings of one passport is the central oddity of this rail, and it is produced by the structure rather than by anybody being slow. Each party is answerable for its own account. Neither is entitled to lean on a decision somebody else made about a photograph of the same page.

Nine minutes apiece is posited for a document round, so the duplication costs eighteen minutes of a reader’s attention as well as the forty-four hours. Photographing a page, finding a bill inside whatever window is wanted and pushing both through an upload form twice over is not a thing anybody does twice with enthusiasm.

The forty-four hours is a sum only if the two examinations run one after the other, which is how they fall if the reader works through the chain in order. Started together on the same evening, the pair occupy the longer of the two rather than both, which is twenty-four hours, and twenty hours disappear from the total. Nothing prevents it: documents can go to the casino while the wallet is still deciding. That single rearrangement is worth 6,000 presses of waiting at the twelve seconds a press posited here.

Seventy-four hours and nineteen minutes is therefore the overlapped figure against 94 h 19 min for the obedient one, and the difference is twenty hours bought by opening two browser tabs instead of one. Of every saving named in this note it is the cheapest, and the only one costing nothing whatever, not even a change of rail.

3

Eight stages, added up from nothing to a bank account

Eight stages separate a reader holding no account from the same reader holding the money in a bank, and the table below runs them in order with a cumulative column, because the cumulative column is the one that answers the question actually being asked. Each length is posited by this note and none was measured.

Eight stages, cumulative
Stage Posited length Running total What is waiting on what
Opening the wallet10 min0 h 10 minA mobile number answering a code
Putting money into it5 min0 h 15 minA funding instrument the reader already has

Casino to wallet2 h70 h 19 minAn instruction between two systems
Wallet to a bank account24 h94 h 19 minOne working day of ordinary banking

Forty seconds for the deposit is in the table for one reason: to show that it rounds away. A reader choosing this rail for the speed of paying money in has chosen it for the one stage that contributes 0.012 per cent of the chain. Everything that matters is a hold or a leg, and a hold or a leg is measured in hours.

Ninety-four hours and nineteen minutes is 5,659 minutes, which is 257 sittings of the twenty-two posited minutes this site uses for one go with a handset, and 28,295 presses at twelve posited seconds apiece. Those conversions are not decoration. They are the only way a duration of four days means anything to somebody whose unit of gambling is twenty minutes on a bus.

Two lines of cumulative hours across the stages of the chain, running from opening a wallet to money reaching a bank. The line for a reader starting from nothing climbs to 0.25 hours at the opening, then to 24.25 after the wallet examination, 44.32 after the casino examination, 68.32 after the review hold, 70.32 after the leg into the wallet and 94.32 on arrival. The line for a reader using a rail already held stays at nought for the first two stages, reaches 20.07 after the casino examination, 44.07 after the review hold and 116.07 on arrival. Ringed callouts mark the wallet examination on the first line and the arrival point on the second.
Figure 1. Cumulative hours across the stages of a payment, for a reader adopting a small wallet and for one paid to a rail already on the account. Every length is posited by this note and none of them was measured.

Flat for three stages and then vertical at the end is the shape of the second line, and that shape is the whole argument of the next two parts. A reader who already holds a rail spends nothing at the start and everything at the finish. A reader adopting one spends early and finishes sooner.

4

The same payment sent to something already on file

Strip the first three stages away and the chain for a rail already sitting on the account runs to four items: four minutes of joining, twenty posited hours of examination, twenty-four posited hours of review, and a leg of three working days, which this part treats as 72 continuous hours so that the two routes can be compared on one clock. That comes to 116 h 4 min.

Twenty-one hours and forty-five minutes is the gap, 116 h 4 min against 94 h 19 min, and it falls the way most readers would not guess. Adopting a rail from scratch, document round and all, finishes sooner than using one that was already there. The reason is arithmetic rather than virtue: 24 h 15 min of setting up buys a leg of 26 hours in place of a leg of 72.

Two routes, one clock
What is being countedAdopting the walletA rail already held
Before any deposit24 h 19 min4 min

End to end94 h 19 min116 h 4 min
In presses, at twelve posited seconds28,29534,820
In sittings of twenty-two posited minutes257316

Six thousand five hundred and twenty-five presses is the difference in this site’s own unit, being 21.75 hours at twelve posited seconds, and fifty-nine sittings is the same gap counted in phone pick-ups. Neither figure is money and both are the right unit, because nobody experiences a payout queue as an interest calculation.

One hundred and forty pounds held for 94 h 19 min, at an assumed four per cent a year, costs 8.4 pence. The same sum held for 116 h 4 min costs 10.1 pence. One and seven tenths of a penny is what twenty-one hours and forty-five minutes is worth in money, and printing that figure is the point: the saving is real and it is not financial.

5

Fifty and a quarter, which is the line adoption must beat

Everything in part four depends on one posited number, the 72 hours given to the leg on the rail already held, so the useful thing is not that figure but the point at which the answer flips. Adoption costs 24 h 15 min. Adoption saves whatever the existing leg takes, less the 26 hours the wallet route spends getting money from the casino to a bank account. Set those equal and the existing leg comes out at 50 h 15 min.

Fifty hours and fifteen minutes is therefore the whole of the decision. Where the rail already on the account clears faster than that, opening a new one is time thrown away. Where it clears slower, the new one pays for itself on the first payment. No other figure on this page changes the answer, and the figure is one a reader can look up for their own bank or card in a minute.

Where the existing leg decides it
If the rail already held takes That route, end to end Adoption saves Which way it falls

96 h140 h 4 min45 h 45 minAdopt
120 h164 h 4 min69 h 45 minAdopt

One payment is the worst case for adoption and the table above is written for it. Open the account twice and the arithmetic changes, because 24 h 15 min is paid once and never again. On the second payment the whole of the leg difference is saved, which at the posited 72 hours is forty-six hours.

Averaged over the payments made, the saving per payment is 46 hours less 24.25 divided by how many there are. One payment gives 21 h 45 min. Two give 33 h 53 min apiece. Three give 37 h 55 min, five give 41 h 9 min, ten give 43 h 35 min, and the ceiling the series creeps towards is forty-six hours flat.

46 h saved per payment, once the set-up is behind

Amortisation is the honest word for that and it cuts both ways. Somebody collecting once is paying the full 24 h 15 min against a single benefit, and somebody who will collect monthly has effectively paid 2 h 1 min of set-up per payment across a year. The rail does not change. What changes is how many times the fixed cost is divided.

6

Working days are harsher on a long leg than a short one

Parts four and five run on a continuous clock, which flatters nobody but simplifies the comparison. Reality inserts Saturdays. The holds in this chain run through them, being examinations rather than transfers, and the banking legs do not, which is where seven identical requests stop behaving identically.

Counting the half after the button only, the wallet route is a 24 hour review, a two hour internal leg and one working day of banking, sent at ten in the morning. The route on a rail already held is a 24 hour review and three working days. The table takes a request at midday on each of seven days and follows both to arrival.

Seven middays, two routes
Request at midday on Wallet route, hours Rail already held, hours Gap
Monday709424
Tuesday7016696
Wednesday11816648
Thursday11816648
Friday9414248
Saturday7011848
Sunday7011848

Eighty-seven and one seventh hours is the mean of the left column and 138.57 is the mean of the right, so once the calendar is let in the gap widens from 21 h 45 min to 51 h 26 min on average. A leg of three working days collides with a weekend more often than a leg of one, and each collision costs forty-eight hours rather than twenty-four, because a Saturday never arrives alone.

Adding the front halves back gives the end-to-end averages: 131 h 28 min for the wallet route and 158 h 38 min for the other, a difference of 27 h 11 min. That is the number worth taking from part six, and it is larger than the 21 h 45 min of part four rather than smaller, which runs against the instinct that admitting complications shrinks a difference.

Tuesday midday is the sharpest row. Seventy hours against 166 is a gap of ninety-six, four whole days decided by which rail the money was pointed at and nothing else. A reader who is going to ask on a Tuesday and who holds nothing but a slow card has the strongest case on this page for opening something.

7

Thirty-three minutes of a person, counted apart from the days

Elapsed hours and attention are different quantities and mixing them is the commonest fault in writing about payout speed. Ninety-four hours is mostly a reader doing something else. The part that is actually taken from them, totted up stage by stage, is thirty-three minutes and forty seconds.

What is taken from the reader
StageAdoptingAlready held
Wallet sign-up form6 minnothing

Second document round9 min9 min
Paying money in40 s1 min 30 s

Added up33 min 40 s15 min 30 s

Eighteen minutes and ten seconds is the extra attention adoption asks for, and 1,305 minutes is the elapsed time it hands back on the continuous clock of part four. Dividing one by the other gives 71.8 minutes of waiting removed for every minute of form-filling added, which is the exchange rate this page exists to print.

Fifty seconds is what paying money in costs on the wallet against the one minute thirty this note posits for typing a long card number, so the funding stage saves fifty seconds a go. Nineteen deposits would be needed for that saving alone to repay the six minutes of opening the account, and nobody opens a wallet for that reason. The deposit speed is the advertisement and the leg is the product.

71.8 min of waiting removed per minute of forms

One caution belongs here. Attention is not the same as effort, and a nine minute document round done twice is more than twice as annoying as doing it once, because the second time a reader already knows the answer and is supplying it again. Nothing in the arithmetic captures that, and it is probably the real reason a small rail stays small.

8

Papers, and the rule about asking for them late

Forty-four hours of this chain is two desks reading paperwork, and the cashier at the end of it holds no Great Britain licence at all. Rules about paperwork are therefore the ones to lay out here: which papers may be demanded, at which stage, and what follows where a payment stalls because nobody demanded them sooner. Different pages on this site price different absences.

What may be demanded is left open. Household bills get named by the regulator as an example, as do driving licences and passports, with the choice among them belonging to the business rather than being prescribed for it. So the content of a document round is commercial, and nine posited minutes is a guess about a form nobody has standardised.

Timing is where a British licence does bite. Hold a payment up because the business does not hold enough identity information, and the regulator’s published view is that condition 17 may have been breached. Read that against stage five of part three: twenty posited hours of examination is work for the opening of an account, not for the way out of one.

Both of those points come from consumer guidance dated 23 September 2020 whose last revision was 13 April 2022, which puts it behind a good deal of what sits around it. Whatever the regulator says about identity today is in the licence condition rather than the guide, and a page leaning on either should say which of the two it is quoting.

The offshore rulebook most often standing behind a cashier of this shape is not silent on complaints, and pretending otherwise would misrepresent it. Curaçao gives the player six months from the incident to complain, at no charge whatever. Receipt is confirmed in writing inside one week. A response is due in four weeks, with one extension of the same length available on written notice beforehand, so eight weeks is the outer edge. Anything raised about responsible gambling jumps that queue, with best efforts aimed at five business days. Eight weeks is 1,344 hours, fourteen times the whole 94 h 19 min chain, and that ratio is what a disputed payment is really worth.

Not one figure in parts one to seven shifts because of any of that. Forty-four hours of examination stays forty-four hours. What changes is whether anybody was obliged to ask at the start, and what a reader can do on the morning a second desk decides the photograph will not do.

9

Who should open an account to collect once

Somebody whose existing rail clears inside 50 h 15 min should not open anything, and that is the first and shortest answer. The 24 h 15 min of set-up buys a leg saving smaller than itself, the eighteen minutes of extra forms buy nothing, and a second organisation acquires a copy of a passport for no return.

Somebody whose existing rail is a card leg of three working days is in the opposite position, saving 21 h 45 min on the first payment and forty-six on every one after it. At a request made on a Tuesday the first-payment gap widens to ninety-six hours, which is four days of difference decided before any money moved.

Two rearrangements are free and both should be taken whatever the rail. Starting the two document rounds together rather than in sequence removes twenty hours from the chain. Asking to be paid on a Monday or at a weekend rather than midweek removes up to forty-eight more from the half after the button. Neither requires anybody’s permission and neither depends on which wallet is used.

Three questions settle it. How long does the rail already on the account actually take, measured against the 50 h 15 min crossing. How many payments will there be, since the fixed cost divides by that number and nothing else. And is there any intention of using the new account for anything beyond this one payment, because a wallet opened for a single collection is a document round, a password and a balance nobody will think about again.

Ninety-four hours and nineteen minutes is the figure to carry away, and the honest gloss on it is that four days is four days whichever rail is chosen. The choosing moves it by one day on a continuous clock and by two on a real calendar. Nothing available on this page turns four days into four hours, and anything promising that is describing one stage of nine.

Questions

How long does a MuchBetter casino withdrawal take?
On this note’s posited lengths, 94 hours and 19 minutes measured from a reader who holds no wallet at all, and 50 hours measured from the request alone. The half after the button is a 24 hour review of the request, two hours to move the money from the casino into the wallet and one working day to move it from the wallet into a bank account. The half before it is 24 hours and 15 minutes of opening and funding the wallet plus 20 hours of casino examination. Nothing here was observed.
Why does the clock start before the deposit on this rail?
Because the account does not exist yet. Three things have to happen before a penny can be paid in: the wallet is created, it is funded, and it forms a view about who is operating it. This note posits ten minutes, five minutes and twenty-four hours for those, which is 24 hours and 15 minutes of elapsed time spent before a casino form has been opened and before anybody knows whether there will be winnings to collect.
Is it worth opening a new wallet just to be paid?
It turns on one number, which is 50 hours and 15 minutes. Adoption costs 24 hours and 15 minutes and saves whatever the existing rail takes, less the 26 hours the wallet route needs to get money from the casino to a bank. Set those equal and the crossing is at 50 hours and 15 minutes. Where the rail already on the account clears faster than that, opening a new one is time thrown away; where it clears slower, the new one repays itself on the first payment.
Why is the same passport examined twice?
Because two separate organisations are answerable for two separate accounts and neither may lean on the other’s conclusion. The wallet examination is posited here at 24 hours and the casino examination at 20, which is 44 hours, or 46.65 per cent of a 94 hour 19 minute chain. In attention it is two document rounds of nine posited minutes each. Started on the same evening rather than one after the other, the pair occupy 24 hours instead of 44 and twenty hours come off the total.
Does it get quicker if I use the account again?
Yes, because the 24 hours and 15 minutes of setting up is paid once. On every payment after the first, the whole of the leg difference is saved, which at the 72 hours this note posits for a three working day card leg is 46 hours. Averaged over the payments made, the saving runs 21 hours 45 minutes for one, 33 hours 53 minutes each for two, 41 hours 9 minutes each for five and 43 hours 35 minutes each for ten, creeping towards a ceiling of 46 hours.
How much does the day of the week change things?
Counting the half after the button only, a request at midday runs to 70 hours on the wallet route from Monday, Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday, 94 from Friday and 118 from Wednesday or Thursday. On a rail already held the same seven middays give 94, 166, 166, 166, 142, 118 and 118. The means are 87.14 hours and 138.57, so the calendar widens the gap between the routes rather than narrowing it. A leg of three working days meets a weekend more often than a leg of one.
How much of the wait is actually my time?
Thirty-three minutes and forty seconds on the adopting route and fifteen minutes thirty on a rail already held, counted stage by stage as sign-up forms, document rounds, paying in, asking to be paid and moving money onward. The extra eighteen minutes and ten seconds buys back 1,305 minutes of elapsed time on a continuous clock, which is 71.8 minutes of waiting removed for every minute of form-filling added.
What does this rail lose by sitting outside the British licence?
Three things, all of them about paperwork. Cashiers reached by a wallet like this hold no British licence, so nothing obliges one to follow the British position on when papers get demanded. Household bills are named by the regulator as an example of what an identity request might call for, as are driving licences and passports, with the choice among them left to the business rather than prescribed for it. And where a payment is held up because the business does not hold enough identity information, its published view is that condition 17 may have been breached, which is a rule about the stage at which the asking happens. Both points sit in consumer guidance dated 23 September 2020 whose last revision was 13 April 2022.
