Note C04 Revision 1 Terms read 17 October 2026

Nineteen evenings with a handset, which is what a five pound note turns into once it is matched

Six hours and forty minutes is the honest total and it is the wrong unit, because nobody sits down for six hours and forty minutes with a phone. Two thousand presses, taken at the twelve seconds assumed here, fill 19 sittings of the twenty-two minutes assumed for one, and nineteen is a figure a diary can argue with.

Only the middle reading comes out of arithmetic belonging to this site. The multiple laid against what lands gives the turnover asked for; dividing that by 10p a spin gives the presses; dividing those by 300 an hour gives the hours, a press on a handset being taken here at 12 seconds from the one before. Both figures are assumptions rather than measurements of anybody: nothing was played and nothing was held a stopwatch to. Anybody quicker should divide the press count by a rate of their own, which is why the presses are printed alongside the hours instead of being summarised away.

The first reading is what arrives before any condition is laid against it. Spins carry no unit of their own so one gets supplied: where an operator values its own spin that figure is used and attributed, and where it does not, this site's 10p a spin stands in and everything below moves with it. The third reading belongs to the operator entirely. It is a withdrawal band quoted from published terms, and a blank there means none was published rather than that nobody looked.

The total along the foot answers what the hours leave open, which is whether any of the running ends anywhere. It is what arrived, less whatever is still standing once the play-through has been paid for at 96 per cent return to player and once a published limit, a published deduction and a published floor beneath the least that can leave have each had a turn. It appears again in pence in the pound, the only fair way of holding a small offer up against a large one. It describes an offer rather than an evening, and where the conditions price out what arrived, a timer prints nothing getting out instead of a negative sum.

Cashiers on a handset take deposits off a row of preset buttons, so a least deposit given in pounds is raised to the next rung of the ladder used here, £10, £20, £25, £50, £75 and £100, and the timer shows what is left perched on it. That money is the reader's own and enters no sum at all. Given in euros it prints untouched, the ladder being sterling. Three words may occupy the figure column where no figure belongs. Stated is a published term that costs something while leaving no number to subtract. No figure is a term nobody has quantified, or a credit that is not a sum until money of yours makes it one. Your own is money of yours, which belongs in none of this.

None of the operators above is licensed in Great Britain, so not one duty that licence carries reaches any of them. Membership of Gamstop Online is compulsory for every online gambling company licensed in Great Britain, which means that shutting yourself out through the scheme shuts you out of none of these. The limit of ten times the bonus funds on a wagering requirement, running since 19 January 2026 under Social Responsibility Code 5.1.1, is a condition of the same licence and binds only whoever holds one. Off that licence, the Gambling Commission writes of consumers meeting unfair gaming practices, financial loss and no recourse when matters go wrong, and lists blocked payouts and withdrawal limits pitched too high to reach among the things it has seen. No account at any of them may be held by anybody under 18.

Every term on a timer is its operator's own and every timer carries the day somebody read it. The oldest of those readings is 17 October 2026. What binds a reader is an operator's full terms and never a line printed here.

1

Two thousand presses, cut into lengths a phone can hold

Five pounds matched at a hundred per cent credits five pounds, and forty applied to the credited half wants £200.00 sent over the reels. Ten pence a press makes that 2,000 presses. Twelve seconds apiece, which is the interval assumed throughout this note and was never put to a watch, gives 24,000 seconds, 400 minutes, 6 h 40 min.

One hundred and ten presses is what a sitting holds, twenty-two minutes being the length this note assumes for one go with a handset and another figure nobody here observed. Two thousand over a hundred and ten returns 18.18. Carry the fraction up, since a part sitting is still an occasion on which a phone comes out, and the answer on those assumptions is nineteen.

19 assumed occasions bought with one £5.00 note

Ten pounds is what the account reads while all that is going on, the note and the credit together, and the two halves are spent indiscriminately by the pressing. Four hundred presses an hour is not the rate; 300 is, at the assumed interval, which puts £30.00 an hour over the reels and takes £1.20 of it away at the four pence in the pound assumed here. By press 2,000 the balance is expected to read £2.00.

Three pounds is the expected cost of the whole exercise, five out against two expected back, and the house formula agrees from the other direction: a credited five at forty times, with ninety-six pence in the pound assumed back, gives minus £3.00. Every length on this page descends from those two assumptions, the press interval and the sitting, and from a ten pence stake. A sentence with a length in it names the assumption it rests on.

2

What a count of occasions says that a total of hours cannot

Six hours and forty minutes, on the interval assumed here, reads as a quantity of time, and a quantity of time invites a reader to picture one long block of it. Nothing about a handset works that way. The block never exists, so the total describes an amount of work and says nothing whatever about the shape the work arrives in.

Nineteen describes the shape. It is the number of times a phone is picked up, a lobby is opened, a stake is set, and pressing resumes where it stopped. Every one of those nineteen is a fresh decision to begin, made on a different evening, in a different mood, with whatever else was happening that evening pushed aside for twenty-two assumed minutes.

One run, described two ways
The question a reader is really askingWhat a total of hours answersWhat a count of sittings answers
How much work is there6 h 40 min, assumed19 occasions, assumed
Will it fit this weekUnanswerable without a diaryNearly three a night for seven nights
How often must I come backSilent on the pointEighteen returns after the first
What does one unit of it feel likeSilent on the point110 presses, then the phone goes down
Where can it be abandonedAnywhere, in principleAt eighteen natural stopping points

Row three carries the weight. Eighteen returns is the figure a headline never prints and the one a reader would act on, because a return is the moment at which somebody who meant to stop carries on instead. The work is not the pressing. The work is turning up nineteen times to do it.

One sitting a night, at the assumed length, finishes the condition nineteen nights after the payment clears, which is two and a half weeks of evenings. Three a night brings it inside a week, at an hour and six assumed minutes each evening. A weekend of it, six assumed sittings on each of two days, leaves 680 presses and 2 h 16 min still owed on the Monday.

Nought of that spread touches the 2,000, a count the multiple and the price of one press fix between them. Rearranging the nights changes the calendar and leaves the press count exactly where the terms put it, which is the reason this note counts occasions before it counts anything else.

3

Four minutes of work inside the nineteenth evening

Eighteen sittings hold 1,980 presses between them, 110 apiece, which is 396 minutes or six hours and thirty-six assumed minutes. The condition wants 2,000. Twenty presses are left over, and twenty presses at the assumed interval is 240 seconds, which is four minutes.

Four minutes against the twenty-two assumed is the shape of the nineteenth occasion, and it is a strange object to have bought. A phone comes out, a lobby loads, a stake is checked, and the obligation ends before the evening has properly started. Eighteen of the twenty-two assumed minutes are booked and unused, which is the slack a carried fraction always leaves behind.

Paired upright bars at five payment sizes of one, two, three, five and ten pounds, measured in minutes. The bar for minutes of work left in the final sitting runs 14, 6, 20, 4 and 8, and the bar for minutes of that sitting booked but left unused runs 8, 16, 2, 18 and 14, so every pair comes to twenty-two. A dashed rule crosses the field at twenty-two minutes, the assumed length of one sitting, and ringed callouts mark both bars of the five pound pair.
Figure 1. How the final sitting of the run divides, at five sizes of payment matched at a hundred per cent. Worked at ten pence a press, twelve assumed seconds for a press and twenty-two assumed minutes for a sitting. A five pound note leaves the longest stub of the five.

Eighteen minutes is the largest stub in the drawing and it belongs to the five pound note, which is an accident of where 2,000 falls against 110 rather than anything about fivers. A three pound payment leaves two minutes and a two pound payment leaves sixteen. The slack has no pattern a reader could predict, because it is a remainder, and remainders do not behave.

Nothing is lost by the slack in money terms, and that is worth saying plainly before the next part leans on it. The stub costs nobody a penny. What it costs is the thing this site prices: an occasion committed to, a phone taken out, an evening touched. Nineteen assumed evenings are spent on work that would fit inside eighteen and a fifth.

4

Why the count refuses to scale with the note

Doubling the note doubles the pounds, the presses and the hours, and every one of those three moves in a straight line. The count of occasions does not, because it is a remainder, and a remainder carried up climbs in steps where everything else slopes. That one difference is why this page is written in sittings.

Six notes, counted in occasions
Paid in Presses Run assumed Exact sittings Occasions carried Stub left over Occasions per £1.00
£1.004001 h 20 min3.6448 min4.00
£2.008002 h 40 min7.27816 min4.00

£20.008,00026 h 40 min72.73736 min3.65

Three point six three six is where the last column is heading, that being 400 presses a pound divided by the 110 a sitting holds. It never arrives there, because an exact answer would need a payment whose press count divides by 110, and none of the usual notes does. What the column shows instead is a figure wobbling above its own limit and coming down unevenly.

Four assumed occasions to the pound at the bottom, 3.65 at the top, is a spread of under ten per cent, and the honest reading is that the smallest payments carry the heaviest overhead per pound. Nobody notices it because the quantities are small. The reason to state it is that it runs the opposite way to every other figure on this axis, which rewards nothing and punishes nothing in exact proportion.

Seventy-two point seven three is where 8,000 over 110 lands, and the table sets the exact figure beside the carried one so that the parting of the two can be seen. A £20.00 payment leaves the smallest stub of the six, six assumed minutes, and so wastes the least of a booked evening while booking by far the most of them.

5

Seventy-five pence an hour, at every size of payment

Five hundred pence spread across the 6.667 assumed hours works out at seventy-five pence, and that quotient is the payment valued by the obligation it buys rather than by the balance it makes. The arresting thing is what happens to it when the note changes. It does not move. A pound over 1.333 assumed hours is seventy-five pence, and twenty pounds over 26.667 of them is seventy-five pence as well.

75p an hour, unchanged from £1.00 to £20.00

Invariance is the point and it is particular to this axis. Hours and pounds both rise in step with the note, so their quotient cannot shift, and a bigger payment therefore buys more hours at an unchanged price rather than cheaper ones. Nothing about a larger note improves the trade. It simply takes more of it.

Occasions behave differently again, because of the carried fraction. A five pound note over nineteen assumed sittings is 26.32 pence apiece. A pound over four is twenty-five pence exactly, three pounds over eleven is 27.27, ten pounds over thirty-seven is 27.03, and twenty pounds over seventy-three is 27.40. The limit they are all creeping towards is 27.5 pence, being the 110 presses an assumed sitting holds set against the 400 presses a pound commits to.

Two prices, on the assumed interval
Paid inPrice of an hourPrice of an occasion
£1.0075p25.00p
£3.0075p27.27p
£5.0075p26.32p
£10.0075p27.03p
£20.0075p27.40p

Standing still is what the first column does and the second does not, which is a small result with a large use. Any figure quoted per hour on this axis is carrying no information about the size of the payment at all, so a reader comparing two notes in pence an hour is comparing nothing. The occasion is the unit in which the two differ, and it is the unit nobody publishes.

Nought of either column moves in money terms when a thumb goes quicker or slower, although both move in time. Supposing six seconds instead halves the run to 3 h 20 min and the assumed occasions to ten, so the hour costs £1.50 and the occasion costs fifty pence. The 2,000 presses stay put, and so does the expected minus £3.00.

6

Duties that would have governed one evening

Nineteen assumed occasions are being asked for by a desk that holds no Great Britain licence. Where a count of evenings is the subject, the duties worth setting out are the ones a licence writes about a single sitting. Those are the rules that would have shaped the nineteen rather than the total they come to.

Eleven pounds and twenty-two assumed minutes is what one occasion puts over the reels and takes off a clock, 110 presses of ten pence. Since 17 January 2025 a licensed remote operator has had to carry both of those readings on the screen while play runs, the figure spent net and the time gone. Nineteen such readings added together are the whole of this page, and beyond the register they exist only if a reader writes them down.

Ten assumed occasions instead of nineteen is what two reels turning together would make, and a licensed build may not make that possible. Functionality allowing games to run simultaneously is shut off by the responsible product design standards, whether by splitting one screen or by stacking two, across casino play with poker between customers left out of it. The count cannot be halved by opening a second game.

Pressing quicker is the other route to fewer occasions, and a floor on how soon one game cycle may follow the last is set by the technical standards. Folded into the arithmetic here, 2,000 presses cannot occupy under 5,000 seconds however brisk a thumb is, which is 1 h 23 min and four assumed occasions in place of nineteen. That floor is what stops a lobby collapsing the nineteen assumed evenings into one, and it is absent on this side of the register.

Eighteen returns is what the third duty stands in front of. A product under a British licence may not push a customer towards winning losses back, towards a heavier stake, or towards staying at it after a stop has been asked for. Money taken into a product is not to be refilled unless the customer picks that on each fresh occasion. Somebody who has quit is not to be drawn back in, and a free game is named in the guidance as precisely that sort of lure.

Not one of those three reaches a desk beyond the register, and the arithmetic is untouched by their absence: 2,000 presses, 6 h 40 min on the assumed interval, nineteen occasions. What disappears is any obligation on the party that wrote the condition to leave those nineteen assumed evenings alone.

7

Who should pencil nineteen dates into a calendar

Ten pounds of playable balance for a five pound note is a genuine doubling of the reels a payment buys, and somebody who wanted an evening of pressing has been handed a second one at no charge. A hundred funded presses become two hundred, twenty assumed minutes become forty, and nothing in this note disputes that part of the transaction.

Nineteen assumed occasions is the invoice, and the two will not sit on the same scale. Two thousand deliberate presses spread across the nineteen assumed evenings, undertaken to reach an expected £2.00 on a five pound note, values each of them at 26.32 pence and the whole exercise at minus three pounds.

One reader comes out ahead and it is worth naming them exactly. Somebody who means to press for forty assumed minutes, enjoys the pressing itself, and will walk away with the condition untouched has bought twice the reels for the price of one. Where the terms allow the note to be withdrawn before the credit is engaged, that reader can stop there and the second evening cost them nothing.

Three questions settle the matter for everybody else, and a calendar answers each of them. How many evenings a week are realistic, since nineteen assumed occasions at one a night is two and a half weeks. What the window on the credit is, because a window shorter than the assumed occasions can fit into makes the whole count moot. And whether a ceiling on a single stake is printed, since that figure governs how far 2,000 presses can be compressed at all.

Nineteen is the number to carry away rather than six hours and forty minutes. An hours figure is a quantity a reader can agree to without picturing anything. A count of assumed occasions is a request for nineteen evenings, written in the unit a phone actually imposes, and it is the form in which the request can be refused.

Questions

How long does a £5 deposit casino bonus take to clear?
Two thousand presses, which is six hours and forty minutes at the twelve seconds assumed here for one press. A hundred per cent match credits five pounds, forty times that wants £200.00 sent over the reels, and ten pence a press produces the 2,000. Split into sittings of the twenty-two minutes this note assumes, it comes to nineteen separate occasions. Neither assumption was measured.
Why count sittings instead of hours?
Because nobody spends six hours and forty minutes in one go on a handset, so the total describes an amount of work and nothing about its shape. Nineteen describes the shape: nineteen times a phone comes out, a lobby opens and pressing resumes, which is eighteen returns after the first one. A return is the moment somebody who meant to stop carries on instead.
What happens in the nineteenth sitting?
Four minutes of work. Eighteen assumed sittings hold 1,980 presses between them at 110 apiece, which is 396 minutes, and the condition wants 2,000. The twenty presses left over take 240 seconds at the assumed interval, so eighteen minutes of that last booked evening go unused. It costs nothing in money and it still costs an occasion.
Does a bigger deposit mean proportionally more sittings?
Not exactly, because a part sitting gets carried up, and a remainder carried up climbs in steps where everything else slopes. Occasions to the pound run 4.00 at a pound, 3.67 at three pounds, 3.80 at five, 3.70 at ten and 3.65 at twenty, all of them creeping towards 3.636, which is 400 presses a pound over the 110 an assumed sitting holds. The smallest payments carry the heaviest overhead per pound.
How much is a £5 note paying for each hour of the obligation?
Seventy-five pence, and the figure is the same at every size of payment on this axis. Five hundred pence over the 6.667 assumed hours gives it, and so does a pound over 1.333 of them and twenty pounds over 26.667. Hours and pounds rise together, so their quotient cannot move, and a larger note buys more hours rather than cheaper ones. An assumed occasion costs 26.32 pence at a fiver.
Is this kind of offer covered by a British licence, and what is lost inside one evening?
No. The desk holds no Great Britain licence, so the 19 assumed occasions arrive stripped of the duties written about a single sitting. Since 17 January 2025 a licensed remote operator has had to carry the figure spent net and the time gone on the screen while play runs, which on this page is £11.00 and twenty-two assumed minutes an occasion. Functionality letting two games turn at once is shut off, so nineteen cannot become ten. And a product may not push a customer towards winning losses back or towards staying at it once a stop has been asked for, money in a product is not refilled unless the customer picks that each fresh time, and anybody who has quit is not drawn back in by a free game or anything resembling one.
Is a £5 deposit worth taking at a hundred per cent match?
For forty assumed minutes of reels, yes, since the second twenty minutes are funded by the cashier and cost the reader nothing. For anybody intending to discharge the condition, no. Nineteen assumed occasions and 2,000 presses lead to an expected £2.00 against a five pound note, which prices each evening at 26.32 pence and the whole run at minus three pounds.
